Summer Infant Baby Monitors: The
Options
In the summer you like to be
out and about and maybe even spend more time outside, even when you have a baby. Summer infant baby monitors will allow you to spend that time outside even
when baby is sleeping. A baby monitor is a device that will allow
you to hear, and in some cases, even see your baby as they are in their crib sleeping. This is a nice tool to have because it will allow you to sleep with the
knowledge that if your baby starts to cry you will be able to hear him or her and go to their aide if
necessary.
There are a couple of
different types of summer infant baby monitors on the market today for you to choose from. You may just want something simple or you may want something that is a bit
more upscale and will provide you with a true view of what is going on in the nursery when you are up and
around.
One Way Baby Monitors. These summer infant baby monitors are perhaps the most common type. This type of baby monitor
basically has a speaker in the baby’s room with a receiver that is placed in the parents’ room. This allows for any sounds that come from the baby’s room to be heard where
the receiver is with the parent. This allows for the parent to know
when the baby awakens and begins to cry.
Two Way Baby Monitors. These summer infant baby monitors are much like the one way baby monitors except now the parents
can hear the baby but the parents can also choose to allow baby to hear them. These work a lot like two way radios where the parent can depress a button and
talk to the baby. This comes in really handy when a baby just needs
a little bit of reassurance that they are not all alone and they can go back to sleep.
Video Baby Monitors. These summer infant baby monitors are
a little bit different and for the parent that wants to be able to not only see but hear their baby at all
times. These can be either one way or two ways and they not only
allow you to hear baby, but also to see baby. The screen is usually
no bigger than 12 inches and may be color or black and white. With
the video monitors you have the added bonus of actually being able to see what baby is doing and why they may be
crying or making noise.
